Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.—2 CORINTHIANS 9: 10
As in every seed, life-giving power resides in every spoken word. This principle illustrates how the spiritual law of incubation and manifestation works. Everything you see in the natural began as a spiritual seed—that is, as a thought. When you plant a seed in the ground, you do not know what is happening with it until it pushes through the soil. There will be days and even weeks you might think nothing is happening at all, but it is growing and sprouting and getting ready to bear fruit. Prayer is the same way. What we do in secret may even be secret from us for a time, but when it manifests and sprouts, God will be glorified in it before all men.
I thank You, Lord, that You are always working on my behalf, even when I can’t see the results. I remain steadfast in prayer today, knowing that in due season I will reap. Bring about Your purposes in their correct time. I will wait patiently for You, knowing the answer is on its way. In the name of Jesus, amen.
